Il Nepal è uno dei paesi più poveri dell’Asia dove gran parte della popolazione vive principalmente di agricoltura.
Sebbene sia economicamente povero, è ricco di storia, cultura e spiritualità, ed è per quest’ultimo motivo che L’Occidente ne è da sempre affascinato. Ciò che affascina non è solo l’aspetto spirituale ma anche quello naturalistico, caratterizzato da vari microclimi, dalle zone temperate alla catena montuosa dell’Himalaya. “Namastè” è uno dei saluti più rispettosi e gentili che si possano ricevere, di solito accompagnato dalle mani giunte all’altezza del petto e un sorriso che difficilmente si può dimenticare.
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in Asia where a large part of the population lives mainly of agricolture. Though economically poor, Nepal is rich of history, culture and spirituality, and it is for this last reason that the western world has always been fascinated by this country. What is charming is not only the spiritual aspect but also the naturalistic one, characterized by various microclimates, from the temperate zones to the Himalayan mountain range. “Namastè” is one of the most respectful and kind greetings you can receive, usually accompanied by hands held against the chest and a smile you can hardly forget.
